When Seth Denson was in college and trying to pick a major, his advisor asked him what he liked to do. Seth quickly responded that he enjoyed golf. Recognizing the slim odds of making the PGA Tour, Seth’s advisor recommended that he go down to the local golf course and ask some of the players what they did for a living. That’s how Seth got to the insurance/financial industry…where he has had no trouble making it to the top of the game.

Originally from Midland, Texas, but with experience in New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, and San Francisco, Seth blends metropolitan thinking with a straight-forward West Texas business ethic. With more than 10 years in the industry, he has served as a consultant for companies ranging from the Fortune 500 to privately held organizations.

With Grizzaffi Darby, Seth specializes in data analysis and understanding the cost components of a benefit plan. His accomplishments include the development of multiple cost controlling features within the benefit plans he manages. The strategies that Seth has created for his clients have resulted in the combined savings reaching into the millions. He has written a number of educational pieces and has given lectures focusing on emerging trends and technologies within the benefits market.

Seth represents a number of multi-state clients and is a member of the both the Texas and National Association of Health Underwriters. He holds a Group 1 (General Lines) broker’s license and is a licensed insurance counselor.

Although Seth’s schedule doesn’t often afford as much time for golf as he’d like, on the weekends you’ll probably find him either on a course somewhere or with his wife, Jenna, enjoying a ride through the countryside on their Harley Davidson motorcycles.
